Dulu semasa aku mula belajar forex, salah satu perkara penting yang kena tahu ialah interest rate.. Kalau baca mantratrader, dia bergantung kepada interest rate direction untuk 'trade forex'.. Tak perlu 'predict'; tapi boleh ikut jer direction 'cut' atau 'hike'... Mungkin yang terbaik jika 'currency' bertentang pendapat iaitu satu 'negara' tu 'cut' dan 'satu negara lagi'...
Apa itu interest rate? Interest rate is cost of borrowing money; makin tinggi interest rate, makin tinggi 'cost of borrowing'. Inflasi merupakan satu 'sebab' penting untuk 'tingkatkan' interest rate. Interest rate per se, tidak penting sangat bagi 'pemain forex'; tapi 'direction of interest rate' semestinya memberi makna yang besar kepada pemain forex. Korang boleh semak 'interest rate dunia'...
Jika 'direction of interest rate is US 'statik atau down'; dan direction of interest rate in AUS ialah statik atau Up.. Mungkin ini adalah 'pair' yang terbaik untuk dimainkan... Gold VS USD biasanya berkadar sonsang... Selagi US tak strong, unlikely gold akan turun... Ini adalah contoh 'pair' yang terbaik untuk di 'trade'...
Flip trade alone is stand alone method.. tapi jika hendak bermain secara long-term, combinekan dengan fundamental sememannya bagus..

Also decide when your view will change...what must change fundamentally
for you to believe that your long term view is wrong? Usually this has
nothing to do with the absolute level of the currency you are trading."
Ingat yang penting adalah 'direction' dan tak penting untuk 'predict' boleh act after'fact'.
Sebagai general rule,
If interest rates are heading higher, that currency will get stronger;
If interest rates are going lower, that currency will get weaker ...
